Those who are undergoing alarming physical and, above all, psychiatric conditions are usually left in the lurch. Either they are sent away from home to remote hospitals or they have to live suffering the grumble of their helpless kinsfolk. They are usually not living at home, but, to be exact, merely existing.
Thanal is an abode of love for the homeless. Thanal is a Comfortable home for asylum seekers. As they enter through the door we have left open, the burden of being an orphan is lifted from them. The word “Home” is no more a figure of speech. The care, love, and warmth that the inmates receive here means what Thanal truly is; an extension of expert medical care to humaneness and hope.
Thanal Homes started with the goal of bringing together people who have fallen into public places such as bus stands and railway platforms, and those who have been orphaned after a long hospital stay and have not been discharged for the sole reason of being orphaned. By keeping them all together as a family, the faded smile on them can be regained.
